We are not general contractors or multi-material window installers. We work exclusively with the unique engineering of box frames, counterweights, and sliding sashes found throughout Victorian, Georgian, and Edwardian residences.

Splicing Over Substitution
Rotten lower boxes and water-damaged sills rarely require total frame removal. We excise decayed timber and bond in matching seasoned hardwood or Accoya using architectural epoxy resins. This preserves original interior architraves, plaster reveals, and exterior brick pointing.
True Double Glazing
Standard double-glazed units are too heavy and bulky for historic frames. We manufacture double-glazed units incorporating warm-edge perimeter spacers, argon gas cavities, and low-emissivity glass. You gain contemporary thermal comfort and acoustic reduction without compromising slender sightlines.
Concealed Draught-Proofing
Eliminating rattle and heat loss does not require plastic stick-on tapes. We machine precision nylon brush carrier seals discreetly into newly fitted timber parting and staff beads, creating an airtight barrier along top, bottom, and meeting rails while maintaining a silent, smooth glide.
Structural Box Frame & Sill Splicing
Careful excision of rotten wood and seamless resin-bonded timber splicing, executed on-site without destabilising structural masonry or interior window reveals.
Historic Profiles with Modern Thermal Performance
Bespoke meeting rails and sashes fitted with argon-filled double glazing, authentic putty-style profiles, and traditional brass sash hardware.
Urgent Broken Sashes, Snapped Cords, or Shattered Panes
When an upper sash drops, a cord snaps, or glass shatters, leaving your home unsecured or exposed to London weather, we provide same-day emergency repairs from Monday to Saturday, between 08:00 and 18:00. If bespoke glass or joinery is required, we make the window safe and weather-tight immediately before completing permanent timber work.
